We are loving this little fairy garden that you can make using our SVG files. It is so tiny and sweet. We are located in Salt Lake, and it is a still snowy and cold. This little garden will bring a little sunshine into your home as we approach spring!
There are nine files in total to make this fairy garden. You can find them here:
Silhouette Shop | Digiplayground Shop
Most of the pieces are easy to put together (simple finger pressing on the flowers to make them more 3D and box-like houses). If you are worried about building the houses, feel free to take a look at our Little Town since these tiny houses are made even easier than those. To make a small “garden” see our material list below.
You can mix and match this set as much as you want, but the core houses include the fairy house, mushroom house, and fairy cottage. The little fence weaves beautifully throughout and the flowers fill in the garden. A small garden trellis and pebbled pathway helps pull together the scene, while the large butterfly and it’s flower help scale the tiny garden.
If you want to put it together the way we did, you will need the following supplies.
+ 12 inch saucer (purchase from your local home garden store)
+ 12 inch circle cork board (in the same section as your saucer and planter/garden supplies!)
+ small garden rocks
+ tiny garden pebbles
+ hot glue
+ rhinestones for the centers of your flowers
Place the corkboard in the center of the saucer. You will not have to glue it down. It should fit perfectly
This is truly a magical little set. We do not recommend mixing pieces with real plant since they need watering unless you modge podge or laminate the papers. It is a fun set to have indoors and hope some little ‘house fairies’ come visit. At least that is what our kids are wishing for!
